AllMyThings Terms of Service

Last updated:2026-09-14

Effective date: 4 May 2026 Last updated: 14 September 2026

Welcome to AllMyThings (the “App”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and the developer of AllMyThings (“we”, “us”) regarding your use of the App. Please read them carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to all of these Terms.

1. About the Service

AllMyThings (the “App”) is an item management application for individuals and households. It helps you record, organise, find and track the things you own, and provides AI-based recognition and assistant capabilities. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

The App is a native iOS application. Your data is stored by default on your own device and, if you enable sync, in your own iCloud account. We do not operate our own servers for storing your item data.

2. What the Service Provides

The App currently offers the following features (features may be added or removed in future versions):

2.1 Item management

Create, edit and delete item records. Records support name, quantity, specification, price, expiry date, warranty period, storage location, photos and more, organised by category (consumables, durables, apparel, media, healthcare, sports and outdoors, toys, pet supplies and so on).

2.2 Location management

Build multi-level storage locations (such as room → cabinet → drawer), record where each item is kept, and bulk-file unassigned items.

2.3 Reminders

Generate notification reminders locally on your device based on expiry dates, time until expiry, low-stock thresholds and similar conditions.

2.4 Shopping list

Keep track of items to buy, add items to the shopping list, mark them as purchased and clear the list.

2.5 AI image recognition

Take a photo or choose an image from your library, and the App automatically recognises the item’s name, category, expiry date, price and other details and fills in the form. Recognition has two channels:

  • On-device recognition: performed on the device using the on-device model and Apple system vision capabilities. Images are not uploaded, and this is free forever with no limit;
  • Cloud recognition: sends a compressed image to a third-party AI service for recognition, with higher accuracy, subject to a free allowance (see 4.4).

2.6 AI assistant

Query and manage items, generate shopping lists and statistics, and set reminders conversationally. The assistant may look up public information online (such as Wikipedia or Baidu Baike) when needed.

2.7 Statistics and export

Home-screen overview statistics (item counts, location distribution, upcoming expiries and so on), and exporting item data as an Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheet.

2.8 Data sync

When you enable it, data is synced across your devices via Apple iCloud (CloudKit). Sync is optional.

2.9 Custom dictionary

Custom item categories, tags, units of measure, specification attributes, asset attributes and icons.

3. Your Responsibilities

3.1 Device and data security

The App does not require an in-app account. Your data is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your own iCloud account. Protecting your device passcode, Apple ID and iCloud account is therefore your responsibility. We are not liable for data disclosure or loss caused by a lost device, a compromised account, or your own actions.

3.2 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful or infringing activity;
  • Upload information or images containing unlawful, infringing or harmful content;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App, or attack or reverse engineer the service to obtain unauthorised data;
  • Attempt to access other people’s data, or circumvent payment and allowance limits.

3.3 Accuracy of content

You are responsible for the data you enter and its accuracy. The App is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of the item information you record, nor for the consequences of decisions you make based on it.

4. Subscriptions

4.1 Pricing

Pro yearly¥128Auto-renews yearly

The lifetime purchase tier is no longer available for sale; users who previously purchased it keep their lifetime Pro entitlement.

Actual prices are those displayed on the App Store product page, and may vary by region, exchange rate or promotional activity.

4.2 Subscription rules

  • Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store, and Apple charges your Apple ID account.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of the current period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in the App’s subscription management. After cancelling, your Pro entitlement continues until the end of the paid period.
  • You can restore a previous purchase at any time using “Restore Purchases” in the App.
  • Price changes are notified in accordance with Apple’s policies.

4.3 Free trial

  • New users get a 3-day free trial, with access to all Pro features during the trial.
  • The trial is offered in the App and can be stopped at any time; it does not produce an automatic charge.
  • The trial is available once per device or account.

4.4 Free allowances and Pro entitlements

All other basic features (item management, location management, reminders, shopping list, data sync, data export, custom dictionary and so on) are available to free users. Allowances reset each calendar month; unused allowances do not roll over.

4.5 Refunds

  • All purchases and refunds follow Apple’s refund policy.
  • To request a refund, please submit it through Apple’s official channel (reportaproblem.apple.com). We have no authority to process refunds for App Store transactions directly.
  • If you have questions about a purchase, you can contact us first using the details in section 9.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The intellectual property in the App’s code, interface design, icons, copy, trademarks and other content belongs to us or to the relevant rights holders.
  • You retain ownership of the content you enter, create and upload (item information, notes, photos and so on).
  • Content generated by the App’s AI features and saved into your data belongs to you, and you are free to use it.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 Service interruptions

The App may be temporarily unavailable, or certain features unavailable, due to version upgrades, system updates, third-party service failures, maintenance and similar reasons. We will try to give advance notice and restore service promptly, but we are not liable for losses arising from this.

6.2 Data loss

We are not liable for data loss. Please back up important data regularly using the data export feature. Enabling iCloud sync reduces the risk of data loss, but you remain responsible for keeping your data safe.

6.3 AI features

  • The results of AI recognition and the AI assistant are for reference only and may be wrong, incomplete or inaccurate. Rely on actual conditions, and do not treat them as the sole basis for health, safety, legal or financial decisions.
  • Cloud recognition sends a compressed image to a third-party AI service; when web lookup is used, search keywords are sent to public search services. See the Privacy Policy for details.
  • Cloud AI capabilities depend on the availability of third-party services. We do not guarantee that they will always be available, or that results will always be consistent.

6.4 Third-party services

The App uses services provided by Apple (iCloud/CloudKit, App Store/StoreKit) as well as third-party AI inference and public search services. These services are operated independently by their providers, and we are not responsible for their conduct, availability or content.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the changes and the update date on this page and in the App. Continuing to use the App after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, please stop using the App.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The formation, validity, performance and interpretation of these Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Disputes arising from these Terms should be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring proceedings before a competent people’s court.
